The Centre of Spain Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences
The Centre of Spain Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is a research institution established in 2002. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Centre organises research on Spanish politics, economy, society, culture, foreign policy, and China-Spain relations. It promotes international academic exchange and enhances mutual understanding between the peoples of both nations. Since its inception, the Centre has conducted its work through diverse means including hosting academic seminars, participating in international conferences, publishing research papers, and undertaking country-specific studies. The Centre's members are primarily drawn from the Institute of European Studies, CASS.
