张敏接受中国国际广播电台采访 谈法国总理访华和中法创新合作

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls is now in China for a three-day visit, which takes him to Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai. This is his first visit to an Asian country, and also to a major non-European economy since he took office last March.

Prime Minister Manuel Valls has led a large business delegation, comprised of over 50 French business leaders to China. They include Fabrice Bregier, CEO of Airbus and Jean-Bernard Levy, the new chairman of EDF, the French main electricity generation and distribution company.

Before heading for China, the French Prime Minister told the media that France wants to be more competitive and attract more Chinese investment.

So what is top of the agenda of the French Prime Minister's visit to China? How can China and France achieve a more balanced trade and investment relationship over the coming years?
