The seminar on “The European Model: European Identity and Respect of Cultural Diversity，European-Identity Methodology” was holding from 15 to 17 October 2006 in rural Beijing by the “Culture, Political and European Identity” research group. In addition to all the members of the research group, two European cooperative researchers——Professor Pena-vega and Professor La Pierre coming from French CNRS, researchers from the Institute of World History Studies of CASS, the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology Studies of CASS and professors from the French Study Center of Wuhan University and the European Study Center of Yunnan University attended the discussion.
