The workshop on “The European Model and European Identity” was holding from 1 to 4 April 2007 in rural Beijing by the “Culture, Political and European Identity” research group. In addition to all the members of the research group, two European cooperative researchers——Professor Alfredo Pena-Vega coming from French CNRS and Professor Fabrice Larat coming from Mannheim University, researchers from the Institute of World History Studies of CASS, the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology Studies of CASS and students from Graduate School of CASS attended the discussion.
