The workshop on "The European Model: European Governance at Work" was holding from 14 to 16 June 2007 in rural Beijing by the political research group. In addition to all the members of the research group, three European cooperative researchers——Professor Beate Kohler-Koch, Professor Bernhard Ebbinghaus, and Professor Berthold Rittberger coming from German Mannheim University, researchers from the Institute of West Asian and African Studies of CASS, the Institute of Latin American Studies of CASS, Development Research of State Council P. R. China, China Institute of International Studies and professors from Peking University, Xi’an University, Nanjing University, East China Normal University attended the discussion.
