The seminar on "The European Model: the legacies of the Nation –states and the Construction of EU Political System" was holding from 11 to 12 September 2006 in Beijing by the political research group. In addition to all the members of the research group, an European cooperative researcher——Professor Elmar Rieger from University of Bremen, Germany, researchers from the Institute of Latin American Studies of CASS and professors from other universities attended the discussion.
