Course Syllabus:

The aim is to make the students understand the basic conditions , the main theories, the representative persons and events about contemporary ethos and social movement of Europe; meanwhile inspire them to conduct a comparative research on the ethos and social movement of European countries.

Course Content:

1，Introduction :Social changes and ethos of European modern society.

2，Social theory and European politics research

3，French ethos and social movement

4，British ethos and social movement

5，German ethos and social movement

6，Generality of European social policies
