Course Syllabus:

Participants shall gain a basic understanding and an overview of the European Parties and Political Culture. They will get to know the history and the current situation of political parties in European countries, their different political cultures , the interaction between them, and their future development. At the same time, they will examine the political parties and political cultures in European countries in comparative perspective.

Course Content:

Each of the Instructor is specialized in relative country or region of Europe, so they give the students a quite accurate and comprehensive analysis to the important countries of Europe, both relating to their history and to their current situation.

1, the history and the current situation of political parties of Germany and there political culture (by Prof.LIU Liqun)

2, the history and the current situation of political parties of France and there political culture (by Prof.MA Shengli);

3, the history and the current situation of political parties of UK and there political culture( by Dr.TIAN Dewen);

4, the history and the current situation of political parties of Nordic countries and there political culture (by Dr. GUO Lingfeng)

5, Social democratic parties in Europe and political ideology；(by KUANG Yang)

6，the future of political parties of European countries and the European political culture. (by Prof.LIU Liqun and MA Shengli)
