Co-reach Project on "China in Africa" Kicked off

Within the framework of Co-reach Programme and supported by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a research group led by Prof. Zhou Hong, conducted field studies in 3 African countries, i.e. Algeria, Guinea and Botswana, from February 19 to March 6 of 2010.   

While in Africa, the research group has interviewed local officials in charge of finance, development, agriculture, transportation, forestry and others, visited Economic and Commerce Sectors of Chinese Embassies, listened to the implementation agencies of China aid project contractors, and had in-depth discussions with persons relating to China’s aid projects.

The other group members are: Tang Xuli, Liu Fei, Zhang Jun, Xiong Hou and Zheng Guanguan.
