Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has been honoured as “Marxism of the 21st Century” and “the latest achievement of localization of Marxism in China”. Xi’s thought about a Community with Shared Future for Mankind as an important part of his thought on Socialism has necessarily embodied the above features. Firstly, the Thought of a Community with Shared Future for Mankind reflects the principles of historical materialism on the relations between division of labor and community. Secondly, based upon the reality of human production and communication in the current world, the thought of a Community with Shared Future for Mankind makes response to the contradictions affecting negatively the common interest for mankind, and further presents a novel solution for enhancing the common interest for mankind. Finally, the ideas and principles incorporated in this Thought originate from China’s practice since the launch of the reform and open-door policy and represents the latest practice of localization of Marxism in China.
