Cong Fu is Associate Professor, based at the Institute of European Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Her main research interests include the European Integration, China-EU relationship, environment/climate politics. She is the author of Studies on EU Climate Governance Model (Renmin University Press, 2013). And she has published and submitted many papers and reports, such as “Zur Entwicklung von Biosicherheit und ein Vergleich der Biosicherheits-Governance in den USA und Europa” (2020), “Security Implication of Climate Change: Origin, Concept and Enlightenment”(2015), “The Soft Governance in the EU Environmental Policy: Is It a Retreat of Integration through Law?”(2009), “The Future of Europe: An Analysis of the Constitutional Treaty in the Process of European Integration”(2005) etc.
She worked in the University of Warwick, UK as visiting scholar during 2016-2017, and Freiburg University, Germany during 2007. She also did academic exchanges with some American and European academic institutions and think tanks, such as, Brookings Institution, VUB, Academy of Czech Republic, etc.
