The main research directions are European Social Cultural studies, European Politics and International relation studies.

Since December 2018, Deputy Director of the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. 

From November 2017 to December 2018, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. 

From January 1991 to November 2017, worked at the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, served as an assistant researcher, associate researcher (since 2000), and researcher (since 2008), during which he served as deputy director of the Social and Cultural Research Department (2001-2007), Director of the Editorial Department of "European Studies" (2007-2009), Director of the Social and Cultural Research Office (2009-2017). 

July 1987-January 1991, Assistant Editor and Editor of the Editorial Department of "Philosophy Trends", Institute of Philosophy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
